The clubbell barbarian squat is a great exercise that challenges the upper body, lower body and core simultaneously. You’ll hit the shoulders, back, triceps and chest with the arm cast, the quads, hamstrings and glutes whilst squatting and the core at the bottom portion of the squat.
With the two handed clubbell barbarian squat have your feet a little wider at shoulder width apart to give the clubbell enough room to swing through the legs.
Only move onto the double clubbell barbarian squat when you can perform the two handed version with proficiently.
Stand with your fleet closer together with the double clubbell barbarian squat to allow enough room for the clubbells to swing outside of the legs, squatting in this close stance will really hit the quads like nothing else!
You don’t need heavy clubbells with the barbarian squat due to the massive amount of leverage of having clubbell/s pressed so far out from the body whilst in a low squat position.
Have fun!
